I think I counted 3 sets of timing mats besides the start and finish ....

Difficult to cheat if that was your goal/plan .

Is there any chance of getting a Hub A-team together? I would love to see what its like to work in an organised group.

If an "A-team" does get together, I'm sure there will be 5-6 of my club members that are also racing many A batch races next year.

I'm concentrating more on VB (40-49), but might make an appearance from time to time.

Only 4-5, Peter Parker will be at back, wheel sucking.

Awesome!!

So guys in for A-Team

Spoke101 + 2

RyanAw

Gerald + 4/5

HBO

12 guys working at the front for a minute each.

1 minute effort

11 minute recovery

5 minutes of effort every hour.

This could be the start of something legendary.

Thoughts on organisation?

Meet and greet?

Before we do anything, we need some bikehub team kit

This sounds like an awesome idea!!!

I hang on to the A bunch until the surge up witkoppen where I lost contact. I put in a massive effort up Malibongwe and Cedar and caught a few guys that broke away through Steyn City.

I eventually came in in 2h32

But, will non-team hubbers be able to buy the kit with or without sponsors logos?

Thanks for the tips..

I did realise this year I have not done many hills, and probably why I suffered on the climbs..

Only reason for cutting down was, I was feeling burnt out and was not recovering well..

Been training majority on my own which makes sense why I can't stick when there are surges in the group..

Ah well, back to the drawing board, and better training for 2017 I guess..

Disagree with you.  I train 99.9% of the time alone.  If you add a few surges (intervals) in your training you should be fine.

I like the way you think!!

You mean "The BikeHub A-Team" kit.

We can go round saving lone riders and pulling back evil attacks everywhere.[emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]
