chat to the owner to buy a babies mattress, or similar, cut to the size of the new bed, make a "sleeve" like a cushion out of old towels and then another sleeve from whatever fabric .... that old puppy will appreciate the soft and comfy bed.

Mattresses have been ordered, the seamstress is just not as efficient as the carpenter... [emoji12]

Maybe the wall is skwiff?????

BTW Myles, plenty Youtube videos where the guys simply use the mitre saw to make the inlays. They even do a straight cut dovetail joint using your method. Looks cool........

Well done.

I don't even have a mitre saw, my jigsawing skills are super *** too so no projects for me.......

Question to fellow chippies = the cheapest local 12mm pine ply (interior) comes in at R485/sheet, rather expensive.

What do you pay in your respective areas for 12mm ply?

Nope, he's talking about the bottom of the blinds. It's bloody difficult to get it even as there are 3 separate strings controlling the drop, and the clamp doesn't clamp them all at the same time. So I ended up just getting it at the proper position and tying the strings together. as long as the clamp is activated *just so* it stays level. trying to get it level by just tugging on one string is a recipe for insanity.

here you go... explains it perfectly

Seriously BAD idea !

I have the Makita saw which is a great machine but I would NEVER do that on the saw.

how wide is that door?

I may or may not have had the same thought. It looks a little narrow for a wheelchair.

yebo, must check sans reg's, but I recall a 1.1m clear opening being the norm...iron mong. and sanware should also be specific for a wheelchair user
