The R302 out of Malmesbury on the One Tonner when you hit a cat eye and puncture... And when you are ready to go you look up and down the road for km and the next group is nowhere in site. And the South Easter is at 40kph+.

Agree with that.

And Tara road on the bluff. Been patched and filled a million times. I now completely avoid it.

I have also canceled my death-wish on Tara Road. It has forced me to jump on the MTB and do BMS, army base, oil refinery and back the same way, most mornings. (MTB handle the speedhumps better at Brighton Beach Primary doing 55+ in the dark). Fairway and Edwin Swales on Weekends are others I avoid.

Gordons Bay Drive between Strand and Gordons Bay, obviously.  Especially the part with no shoulder.  And when the SE is pumping, even more so.

Absolutely agree!

For me it has to be the road between Kaapmuiden and Barberton. Used to be the last leg of the Jock and the last 25km or so is a neverending drag!

easy! it's the last bit up the road to our driveway... 400m@ ~10-14%. Not the greatest after hours in the saddle and your mind and body have already switched off.
