I HOPE MainCheese has a good day today , but think Porte is gonna lay down some pain ....

If I read the sheets correctly then MainCheese will need to try and reduce that 26s to Yates to stand a chance in the White Jersey comp. Hopefully he will take a chance today to test the legs...

Have you seen how ripped he is??

Somebody doesn't get that ripped unless they have a goal.... Lets hope he pulls the pin once or twice this year. Last year he Nairo'ed his way to Paris.

Personally I think that was the plan all along - last year that is.

I also hope to see him put the hammer down a few times this year. Also gunning for white

Today is not a bad day for him to go for it with that cat1 climb at the end...

Let's see what he does.

You can stop speculating about what type person I am, those here that know me, know very well that I am not highly strung at all, nor that there are "multiple versions" of me (see how I must now defend something that you simply invented... proves my earlier point about deflection)

What I don't have time for is people who want to pass comments on others opinions, but don't have the decency to present their version or opinion. But I am not going to let you make this about me in an a cheap attempt to run away.

So again, whats your opinion on the Sagan/Cav incident?

Read my post #1668, just a few posts above yours.

And with that, I'm finished with this tiresome argument.

Edit: These are the legs of a dude who is on a mission.

That is amazing...I remember standing next to him in the bunch at the start of stage 1 of the tour de free state. He was like 19 or something..no muscle/legs at all..still fast as hell but now he is really starting to look like a one of the main contenders.Legs are getting BIG!!

Hope he can go for it this year!!

I have been following the commentary and come across this

In 1967, Raymond Poulidor who was tipped as the hot favorite, crashed in the downhill of the Platzerwasel, borrowed the bike of Edouard Delberghe and suffered a hungerflat in the Ballon d'Alsace, losing all hopes of winning the Tour.

What the hell is a hungerflat ^_^

I did read it... It just didn't warrant a response because it doesn't address the question.

"Doesn't matter who was at fault here, only fact is that the overly harsh, kneejerk decision, has taken away much from the spectacle that is the TDF."

But ok, if you are over it, thats cool.

i know there's been like a million sagan posts here already,

but I've been meaning to do this for yonks. The oke is amazing at surfing wheels and finding gaps that don't exist. How has he won 5 green jerseys and how many sprint stages without really being a true sprinter and not having a leadout train?

Here he is at the olympics, ok not a road sprint, but placing is probably just as crucial. check how he goes from back of the grid

boom off the start

and some corners

So I guess it was going to come bite him sometime, eventually.

Yeah I agree, it was the plan, it was the first time that he was in GT gunning for it, and he just needed to get into a top10 and learn. Also if he attacked at every chance last year, people would be a tad more attentive to him this time around....

It was boring and frustrating at the time, as a spectator, but you can appreciate the plan behind it.

Sorry, just popped in to find out if anyone has an opinion of what Sagz did yesterday? :whistling:

As you were... #gochris

There seem to be more opinions on why other people have opinions than actual opinions, but hey, thats just my opinion on the opinions.
