Masango Shtembiso

I saw earlier this week on Twitter that he would be competing alongside buys. Was also wondering who the he'll but didn't want to say it out loud..

Well done Lakata for peaking at the right time. He has had a terrible run for many a moon now.

I see Dahle is complaining about Annika blocking her somewhere in the race.

Anybody know where De Groot and Stenerhag came in?

Dahle will always complain about something...

Well she did get the attention of the Cape Epic organizers who actually changed the rules to make the ladies cat more competitive and fair. So kudos to her for not keeping quiet.

Why not? It's a good question, after all he is representing our country.

How has his results been locally?

Have always been a huge fan of Ariane, but she has (sadly) lost it. I fear her time has past

Philip Buys 80th

Erik Kleinhans 86th

Sthembiso Masango 159th

bit disappointing that as the 'mtb marathon' capital of the world we don't really feature, Can't even beat the namibians. But I suppose it's like the French waiting for a TdF winner (or Tim henman trying to win Wimbledon)

Who is that in 155th place?

Masango Shtembiso

No idea. Just happened to see he is from South Africa.

Who?

He is one of Martin Dreyer's Change a Life riders who mainly compete here in KZN. He is strong but needs to learn some race craft. He won the development category at Munga last year finishing 6th overall after destroying a wheel and having to run something like 12kms the next check point.
