JEEZ, the way you guys like to moan I'd hate to see what happens if it ever rains again on Argus Sunday (was that '87 or '88). It's almost like whining about the entry process is part and parcel of the whole race experience.

I would rather like to see that, if it rains on Argus Sunday 2018 it will be the biggest happiness ever in SA, for Argus Sunday will be after DayZero.

Nothing can stop them if they really determined and nobody knows if they will try again. Thats life. So if it worries you a lot don't risk entering

+1, if this race is cancelled again due to any reason, it will be my last attempt. I know that any race anywhere can get cancelled for any reason, but coming from Gauteng the risk is not worth the cost.

there is enough races in Gauteng from now till April. None of them gets anywhere close to the CTCT, but I won't loose 15k if it gets cancelled.

..... and this is my thought exactly.    Sadly I am not going to enter this year.

If they are able to control the rioting crowd ?

(something that I doubt, because now that they have seen that it worked, they will just do it again)

I will probably be back in 2019.

The investment coming from Gauteng is not worth the risk.

The organisers are keeping the cost the same in 2018 because of what happened,

but this does not even begin to come close to the real issue.
