I caught myself googling "tribal tat designs" and "pre-workout", decided to seek help.

When you say 'lekka bru!' whilst sitting at a Hooters in Fourways, you know you've gone far and no intervention can save you.

Ā

Next thing you know, you're driving a 2nd hand 2010 GTi and 'klapping okes' outside the Virgin Active that were checking out your chick while she was squatting in her white yoga pants.Ā

lol.Ā

Recently spoke to someone with R200k in financed bicycles... Imagine your leisure finance being the same repayment as your vehicle finance.Ā

Ā

i don't believe I understand that all that well.

I dunno... The wife and I own both our cars and all our toys.

Ā

The only 'finance' we have is a very small bond on the house.

Ā

We are lucky but we also worked dam hard and live pretty 'simply' (relative) to save, not live in debt and allow ourselves a bit more financial freedom.

Ā

I don't even have a credit card. If I can't afford it, I will save longer.

Ā

I don't need a 200k bike to enjoy riding bikes.

Ā

Key takeoutsĀ

- I don't need an expensive bike to enjoy riding

- If I can't afford it I will save

- Live simple

Ā

3 keys to happiness there.Ā

Depends on his / her priorities. I know guys in SA paying off 800k + cars, which makes zero sense to me, but thatā€™s what they prioritise.

Ā

If someone wants to buy a bike for 200k and pay it off, and they can afford it. Good luck to them. I wouldnā€™t do it, but they probably wouldnā€™t do half the stuff that I do.
