NotSoBigBen Posted December 12, 2017 Share Haven't used a 'camelpack' for over 4 years I've yet to get caught short on road or mountain bike ... For road I just add a tube. Not even bulky, made to be cycling shirt pocket sized. Squishy Bag for those that want to know. karma Posted December 12, 2017 Share If I had a $ for every guy I've bailed out with parts/tubes who was too cool to carry a saddle-bag... Anyway, who cares. DJR, Halfdoesyn, Dirkitech and 2 others
Kalahari Vegmot Posted December 12, 2017 Share No one ever said don't carry spares... It's in the way you carry them... No one ever said you shouldn't buy a car. You just shouldn't buy something like a qq...
Furbz Posted December 12, 2017 Share i unashamedly ride with a saddle bag on my road bike - yes even during the 94.7 racei hate the look but prefer not having a weight in my back pocket.my ballas bag looks a lot like this 1x bomb + adapter, spare tube, 2x levers and a piece of plastic incase i slice the tire riding over glass.the piece of plastic has saved me more than once! Patchelicious Posted December 12, 2017 Share If I had a $ for every guy I've bailed out with parts/tubes who was too cool to carry a saddle-bag... Anyway, who cares.A saddle bag is not the only place to carry a tube.A guy without a tube is not the same as a guy who doesn’t have a saddle bag. Maybe you should carry some logic in that saddle bag of yours ???? Kalahari Vegmot

Coolspin Posted December 12, 2017 Share Do you tow it in a Ventertjie ?Or he could stash this under a fizik saddle, fit no problem.
Furbz Posted December 13, 2017 Share Explain the plastic please if you ever gash your tire by 1mm or even up to 1cm (done that once hitting a pothole)you use the plastic piece to place inside the tire over the gash. this ensures your replacement tube does not bulge out of the hole and burst. i believe they now make stickers specifically designed to cover such holes Vetplant, Grayskull and Dirkitech
