Maybe it is just me but the rear derailleur hanger on my 2014 Giant Trance is driving me nuts.  It has loosened but is held in place by a tiny countersunk screw with either a Torx or tiny Allen head (2mm is "stripped" (not me m'lud) 2.5mm won't fit grrr)).  It's location is such that you cannot get a punch, cold chisel or Dremel to it without grinding some other part as well. It also seems to be stainless steel because it is resisting the 1,5mm drill I have tried.

Couldn't they just have put a decent sized, accessible fixing there?

Try using a reverse drill (left handed bit) - worst case it screws it out.... any decent tool shop should have them - start with the Toolshop.co.za in Strydom park

rear facing slots on the seat tube ..... perfect place for water and grit to get into the frame and pool around inside the tubes and BB Area

All cars that don't have bluetooth as standard, why make it illegal to speak on your phone but cars are still sold without bluetooth systems.

Does BT come standard in very luxurious expensive cars? I see so many people idiots talking on their phones in expensive cars.

Yes but generally you have to trade in your brain to afford a very expensive car.

As much as I love my Golf 6, I agree. That volume button or the steering wheel controls are useless and not ergonomic at all. Renault is much better at that with the satellite control on the side of the steering wheel. You can do everything sound related with one hand without taking your eyes off the road.

It ate at my OCD too when I had a Golf 6 - I just used the steering wheel controls because that button needs to face up!!

Speaking about poor design, the on/off button on my Ranger's radio is the same knob as volume control (as with most cars - **** design to begin with), but it's so sensitive that half the time I try to adjust volume I switch the radio off!

I had a nightmare last night that my BB and crank fell out mid ride on a downhill section and when i started walking back up to find it, i was attacked by giant mozzies.

i'm blaming you for the nightmare :whistling:

Even in affordable cars now... techy gadgets are a big selling point in entry level cars now.

Probably the older generation not knowing how to pair the phone with the car or they were so used to not having bluetooth that they forget about it.

Or they just don't give a ****.

I may have posted this before, but a few years ago while riding my bike on my way to work a geezer in a Range Rover Sport almost crushed me into the kerb whilst he was on his phone. Then had a melt down when I asked him if his Bluetooth was broken.

And that particular vehicle model comes standard with Bluetooth.

Sorry, back on topic:

Stupid small cars with MASSIVE front fog lamps. So they look like an upside down one of these .
