On a positive note, wind seems to be settling down. :)

Dead calm at 5am this morning. May pick up later though. Tomorrow's Winguru All models numbers are starting to look like a really good day. We're going to be riding folks! My first CTCT.

How to hack the Cape Doctor. A few wacky tips:

1. Find the right optimal gear. Don’t mash them pedals. Think efficiency. ????????‍♀️

2. Find the biggest rider and study his rear wheel. Just ensure he’s not a dead wheel that’ll grind to a halt up the next kicker. ????

3. Take a mouthful of carb drink every 18.2436 minutes. The work rate is higher than normal in a block wind.

4. Don’t overlap wheels. Unexpected gusts can change the line of the rider in front of you. ????

5. Be patient. Safety first. Mother Nature is much stronger than you’d ever imagine. ????

Ugh.  Just rode to Fish Hoek and back from Muizenberg.

Wind is worse than one of Zuma's speeches.   I did 2009, and honestly, today felt worse.

Maybe I was younger? haha
