Do they cost the same as the regular burgers?

eish ... no idea.

I just know, having not been at the spur for some time, the veggie burger was better than the ribs someone else ordered.

Just some New Years leftovers.

My grandfather is very religious and is the founder of 'Word for the World'

He wasnt very happy with the vegan thing because it was his 4th time visiting this December and was fed vegan. He got a micro-aggression and told my brother and I that this 'thing' is bad and it's becoming a religion of it's own. He braught carrot cake that had raw egg in it and I was sortof forced to eat it.

He thought the diet was good and all but he felt like we were taking it too far.

He is a smart man. Apart from the religious bit.

Apparently the USA consumes 1.3 billion chicken wings JUST on Super Bowl Sunday.

That is 650 million chickens that get slaughtered just for Super Bowl Sunday.

The average chicken length is 40cm.... That would mean that the queue of chickens lining up to get slaughtered, for this ONE day in ONE country is 260 000km long, that would go around the earth more than 6 time.

Sorry this may have come up on this thread already, watched "game changers" on Netflix, was impressed enough to give veganism a go, since 20 Dec still havent eaten any animal flesh.

Still doing some dairy. ( bit of cheese as well as milk in coffee)

Feeling great, lost some weight So far so good.

P.s. Helps that my wife is doing the same and is ridiculously good with vegan recipe cooking, there is nothing that woman cannot do with a chickpea.

Even had a vegan burger from steers the other day. Wasnt bad.

Just note that there was exceptionally bad "science" in this piece. The move to more plant based food sources is great, don't get me wrong. But the film itself is riddled with false conjecture, cherry picked "fact" and loads of skewed opinion.
