The guys building that obviously know a hell of a lot more than me but why a turbine option? Slow to spool, not a good idea on an aircraft like that. But still flipping cool. I would stick to the merlin, that thing sounds sooooooo good.

Yeah sacrilege....if I had the resources to burn $ like that I would want it to at least sound like a spitfire

 

I suppose in this day and age and in future the maintenance on the turbo prop engine would be easier compared to the traditional piston engine.

Well if they need advice on taking a modern engine and fitting it to an older air frame, they should ask Boeing................. Too Soon?
