Slow to spool, not a good idea on an aircraft like that. But still flipping cool. I would stick to the merlin, that thing sounds sooooooo good.

I would stick to the merlin, that thing sounds sooooooo good.Yeah sacrilege....if I had the resources to burn $ like that I would want it to at least sound like a spitfire I suppose in this day and age and in future the maintenance on the turbo prop engine would be easier compared to the traditional piston engine.
