If it makes anyone feel better.....6A

Do I win a prize? (apart from possibly slowest time on the hub)

Just got back into Cycling so have not completed any seeding events.

I am amped though! Hope everyone enjoys it!

Still in 2C, will be a thing doing such a late start without dropping back. Ho the memories of my youth.

Edit and the spreadsheet did not cater for us plebs on le Hub.

there tabs on the sheet, each number is a tab ....

It's a bit like apartheid.

The plebs are not allowed on the same tab as the racing snakes

Seperate. But equal..

Same same, but different

Last year, ~17% of the non-tandem finishers were ladies

Which is about 10% less than the average percent of ladies in cycling which is around 30%

Ah, that's interesting - I'll see if I can get the data again this year to see if it changed.

Other interesting things from last year:

No sub-3 outside of the symbols

Closest sub-3 miss: 3.00.09 from & (he got 117th total so shouldn't really be too sad)

Best non-symbol time: 3.06 from 1D

Some madman did a 3.12 from 4K (beating everyone up to 1H)

There is a 5.57 clocked from $ (maybe using a BMX...)

Longest official time logged: 9.14 from Jh (don't know what that is so not sure if it counts)

Here is my data from Instagram. Majority Cape Town based.

Trying to keep two mixed social teams and a ladies race team proves very tricky finding ladies to ride that are similar strength.

I hear your fear but I doubt it will get that far if we as a cycling community display our empath for the situation those communities face.

I doubt we'd be as anti protest if we had to face being shot at every day by gangsters who have the police in their pockets.

The win here is refocussing the protest as slowbee is thinking

What gets to me is the constant pulling of the race card... Looking around at races there is a real mix of people from all social backgrounds. And as always here, after pulling the race card, there is never a peaceful protest, it always end up in violence
