He has a descent buffer 56 seconds or so..but yeah Kelderman has not yet attacked as his teammate is still setting the pace. Edited by Gen

Solid ride from Tao!

I suspect we will see more from the young lad over the coming stages.

Yeah he is sitting really comfortably now.

But sjoe it's a really tough week coming up.

Haha yeah... Stage wins are rolling in for Ineos, watching Dennis and Ganna attack, Tao smashing it, Castro always in the mix.

I quite like the way they have tackled the loss of G. Wolf Packsesque!

I hope week 3 goes ahead... There could be huge swings in the GC daily

If Geraint did not have his freak accident he most likely would have won the Giro overall but Narvaez, Tao and Ganna (stage 5) would probably not have had the freedom to go for their stage victories..

Personally I am very glad for Tao who, as a young rider at Ineos, is often in the shadow of Bernal, Sivakov etc. and do not get many opportunities to ride for himself..

Pity about Pozzovivo, Nibali and Fuglsang but 2020 seems to be the year of the young ones.

Wonder what Tao and Wilco were discussing with 50M to go? It almost looked like Tao was saying to Wilco, We have sat on your team mates wheel for the last 10km without doing a single watt of extra work so lets give him the win. Then Wilco tunes stuff that I want the win. Tao said ok then it's gloves off and drops Wilco. Would have loved a gentleman's agreement but there were bonus seconds on the line and team orders so that's racing. But Tao looks and sounds like a genuine nice guy.

This Ineos team is quite enjoyable to watch when they don't "kill" the racing

100% from losing their main rider on day 3, they've turned things around nicely. TT's aside, I doubt we'd have seen them racing the way they have been. good for them. they've raced well, and it's been great for us to watch

I’d really like to see Almeida win this; I know it’s a big ask now.

He’s a young inexperienced guy that’s really held on in those really tough moments when he lacked the power that some others had.

He’s shown determination, grit, maturity and surprised many people.
