DaveMan Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 I recently dropped off a Mountain Bike at Eagle Canyon Cycles in Honeydew for basic repairs. After two weeks, no work on the bike had been done. I sponsor a development rider who subsequently as a result of poor service missed out on his final Nissan Trailseeker race. When I complained to the owner "Conrad" he promptly told me to F-OFF out of his shop and then proceeded to use every profanity in the dictionary of swear words that end in the F word. He flew off the handle even in front of other customers. His behavior and language was shocking, I had never experienced such a fowl mouth. So be warned, anybody taking their bike to Eagle Canyon Cycles in Honeydew. Customer service is none existent and don't dare complain or say something for risk of being verbally abused by the owner. I will never ever go back and would not recommend this establishment.
IceCreamMan Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 Sounds completely out of character for Conrad, one of the mostest chilliest ous I know. But I am going to load up on popcorn being Friday an all
RobertWhitehead Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 just a quick question: Why not pay for / teach the development rider to do his own services / maintenance - this will be a very valuable skill for him to learn
Piernas Flacas Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 Maybe they had a backlog of bikes needing service for the 94.7?
Owen Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 First post on Bike Hub ............... people find the Bike Hub to vent.
EmptyB Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 Wow...does sound a bit over the top and out of character from what I've experienced. Any phone calls to the store to check if the bike would be ready for said Trailseeker event?
Jewbacca Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 I read all of that and all I can see when I close my eyes now is a scowling human face with a domesticated bird where his mouth should be......
Escapee.. Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 First post on Bike Hub ............... people find the Bike Hub to vent. I wonder why?
Steven Knoetze (sk27) Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 First post and it's malicious, these usually offer great entertainment.............

love2fly Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 just a quick question: Why not pay for / teach the development rider to do his own services / maintenance - this will be a very valuable skill for him to learn I'm trying to give this comment the benefit of the doubt in terms of seeing a bigger picture....but I'm struggling.......So when we have a bad experience we simply learn how to do it ourselves? Not the solution.
Wayne pudding Mol Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 just a quick question: Why not pay for / teach the development rider to do his own services / maintenance - this will be a very valuable skill for him to learn agreed but irrelevant - now let's all see what transpires
Ispeed_V Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 I also find this very out of character for Conrad. Have never had any issues and always find him very pleasant to deal with. Always two sides to the story, so have to wonder what OP potentially did to provoke such a verbal outbreak as mentioned in his post
BuffsVintageBikes Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 What has transpired is 1 part of a 3 part story... same sh!t, different Fri
