From what I can see, Blevins is the only one with a mudguard on the front wheel (of the top 3).
Hatherley has one.

edit: no, it's only Carod that doesn't have one.

That race was bloody. Vlad seems really hurt on that.

Really no shame in abandoning. At fast one the other week saw a fully grown gent crying when he couldnt get up the mountain to the plateu. One lad told him the mountain will still be here next year...

That was one helluva race. Mountain biking in its purest form. Blevin was just superior, even catching up after replacing his rear wiel. Eventually, he cracked.

Alan’s OTB was surprising as he is such a skilled racer. He seemed to be okay, I hope.

 Canada next weekend!

He was too close behind Blevins. Chris hit a Rock (tsk tsk) and it rolled out in front of Alan. His rear wheel ran over it and it slapped him sideways. In Muddy conditions you're a passenger.

I ride a set of the Black Marlin 6S wheels .

One of the most responsive wheelsets I've ever ridden.

Little more heavy than my other wheels , but I'm not to worried about the weight when im over weight ...lol

I know a few guys that ride The Munga using them, as they very reliable and don't need spares .

Who are they, Redbull.tv, targeting? Those at the track watching live, or like DStv that advertises on their own channel?
