The consistent performer in AH definitely not looking lekka after being such a threat to ‘GC’. Urghhhh. He’s such a technician and this course would normally suit him.

Hopefully he can regroup/recover in time for a solid charge over the next 3 weeks.

Walking that steep climb on lap 3 ... then loosing more spots on it every lap after that ....

 

AH was taking some pain.

On Sunday NS was in top class.  Fighting from the back .... that slip on the last lap cost him dearly ....

I hope AH just needs some rest. He looks flat after this intense racing block... Really hope he comes back with his early season form for Worlds and the final round.

that's how you win a race, ride your own race & not respond to attacks that will just sap your energy. If it wasnt for that narrow rocky section where everyone nearly had to push through I guess he could've been better positioned.

The blurb talks about the "commercialization" of mountain biking. Isn't that what we all moan about here all the time? I suspect that this may mean less coverage that actual enthusiasts will enjoy and more ra ra for the masses. Lets see...

Am I missing something? No Fort William this year? Or has it been dropped from the World Cup circuit because the world champs is being hosted there next year?
