Yesterday's stage was a distance of 185km, which was completed in 3:53:11 for the stage winner, which equates to an average speed of 47.6km/h!

On a (VERY) good day I can only get an average speed of 34/km/h on a 68km Saturday morning club group ride, but in my defense, I am 62 years old and overweight...😁

Frenetic. Dramatic. Absolutely sizzling. Like a Spring Classic per day. And two Aeroads in two days conquer yellow. The nature of Grand Tour racing has evolved into - can’t find the words while on the Sunday couch.

Bikes stolen from cofidis:
In the night of Saturday to Sunday, the Cofidis team was the victim of a burglary. The workshop lorry door has been smashed and eleven of our LOOK Cycle bikes have been robbed despite security measures in place. Members of the police went to the hotel in the morning to determine the violation and to begin their investigation. The Cofidis team strongly condemns this act of civility and calls the perpetrators of these incidents to civility and responsibility.

Bro relax, long way to go.

Italians speak with their hands and arms, mos.
The lanky sprinter tried to bump Bini out of position behind his teammates earlier on as he was in the wind. Bini bumped right back of course.

After the adrenaline subsided, Jonathan went to the team bus to apologise (with video footage, of course). The race for the maillot vert is very hot.

Sprinters are born with tremendous fire in their bellies. 🥴

Actually, not so. The club president won his age category on the Amashova October last year, and also as well as the last criterium race for 2024. Another older cyclist regularly has podium positions in the road championships events. Many other club members boast sub-3 CTCT times.

I usually am the one holding on for dear life at the back of the group. Because the group rides have a no-drop policy, I often am the person dictating the group ride average speeds.

Absolute twat. Totally Uncalled for behaviour. I wish him rotten days on the bike henceforth

Did anyone see what happened? I mean, was there more to it than what the footage showed in the run in to the line?

I'm not sure if there was anything else that upset him - the theory is that this might have been the reason:

Ah right. I hadn't seen this, I only saw the final few 100m to the line. OK well if this is indeed the reason then his behavior was pretty immature and unfair. I thought it was because Bini was drifting a bit to the left in the sprint, which also looked pretty harmless to me.

he tried to bump Binny off his team mates wheel to which Binny gave him the old FO elbow. Milan then lost his marbles and threw the viewed tirade.

He needs to start todays stage 20min behind the main peloton
