Also 35km, I was the guy that had the mechanical at the top of the cement road 10km in. ... Was on a single speed the rest of the ride, (derailer decided to retire) G

I was the guy that started at the very front row of the bunch, with the canondale with red grips. Did you see me, if you were near middle or front of the bunch, you would have seen me sprint in front of the bunch leading up cement road and I had white top with a bit of yellow on. Anyway, how did you find the route?

Rode from Durbanville to Malmesburry and back this morning, we flew to there but back was a solid pumping head wind the whole time very tough!

Sorry, can't recall seeing you, though I think I was real close to the front by the time I got the top of the cement road,

I liked the route,

Like the fact that the single track was at the end, by that time the field was well dispersed so not a cause of a bunch up. (Though I cramped up by that time, was not fit enough)

Route was not to difficult, was tough, (hehe if you had gears...) but something I'd love to be able to ride often.

Some more, with after affects of said rides ^_^

Eina. I got burnt badly on my back during this years IM. In fact it's 9 months later and you can still see the patches that got affected the worst! So ja, don't mess with spike. Get factor 50 and be done.

Taxi's Brakes failed and almost collided into our offices at the Border.

How the hell they made it from JHB to Lebombo is beyond me...
