Stretched@Birth Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 do it. you won't be sorry.Just as well I left my bike at home, after a failed attempt to land in George in winds gusting up to 105km/h, we rerouted to Cape Town to wait it out. Disembarked in Cape Town, boarded again later in the day to try again, when the Captain announces that George airport is closed due to fires, and we'll be returning to Joburg. I got off the plane, along with some fellow travelers, rented a car and we road tripped to Danna Bay. Hopefully pick up the car I came down to buy this morning and then hit the long road back to Joburg, been a bit of an adventure so far...!

There's a beautiful cycle route all along the coast, through the dunes and over some amazing bridges. It should take me a day or 3. Suidwes Boytjie, DJR and gummibear 3
