To the reserve.

I'm not one to punt something just because I've done it but guys.

IF YOU ARE IN THE VICINITY OF CAPE TOWN GO RIDE IN THE RESERVE!!!!!

Never in our lifetimes will we have it like this again. No tour buses and no tourists. The only people in there are the surfers and the other cyclists. We got overtaken by 2 cars the entire time we were in there. It's AMAZING right now. The roadworks are complete and your chances of spotting a bokkie are MUCH higher.

It's R92 but remember to take ID cos the R92 is for SA citizens. If you roll from Fishhoek your out and back will be about 60km. Keep an eye out for whales.

With an Activity Card you can go in for free.  Otherwise you have to pay a R90 entry fee.

Ja. R92. but you have to have an ID or drivers license on you. The lady at the gate won't accept your accent as proof of being a South African. It's R300+ if you are a non south african

We ride into the reserve a few times a year and there's always 3 busses in your view no matter what. But yesterday was amazing. It has to rate in one of my all time top 10 rides.

Went on a long ride to Lake Ammer.  Wife went through late by car and we met up for a coffee/beer and then the return leg.  Did not take any pictures on the road back as rain caught up to me and tucked phone in a plastic bag to stay dry. Eventually had to cut the route short as the original plan would have let me down a little pass that got soaked and going down there with wet brakes just did not appeal to me and took a dry route home.

First ride with friends in months. Had an absolutely awesome time giving the roadies some grief on the Hulkbuster on one of the hillier routes you can ride in our area.

The banter and jokes, perfect weather, and messing around on one another's bikes all came together as one of my best rides ever. Had a go on a friend's GT Grade gravel bike, and couldn't believe the difference it made in comparison to my Stache climbing up Edenvale's main road. I set my 2nd fastest time while not really pushing hard. That just gave me more fuel when I was back on my bike and pushing them up Linksfield and Sylvia's pass  :D .

I even lycra'd up in my matching Build It kit for the occasion!

I just realised that we're either the beginning of a bad joke or a snapshot of the "Rainbow Nation" (sans non-penis-owner).

So a boertjie, a coloured, a Zulu and a Portuguese dude walk into a bar...
