Hahaha.

So I have bad news for that oke. That "secret spot" is listed on windguru and wavescape. And the road sign pointing to it might be a clue.

But we try keep it on the Downlow aye.

We'll use the power of this new fandangle called the Internet to ensure it remains "secret"....all media with metadata from that location will be automatically banned!

We have been blessed some good winter rain in the Western Cape, and after the drought we do appreciate it.

June we measured about 141mm of rain, and the trails took a knock.  Patrick and his team worked hard, and large sections of the trails are properly manicured.

June had another 118mm of rain.

On Friday afternoon I did a nice ride, finding that sweet spot .... four days after the previous rain, and 2 hours before the next downpour.  The trails were damp in a few spots, but Oooo-so-nice

Thus far we have had 87mm of rain in August, with a nice 26mm in 1 hour yesterday

Not surprisingly we got a club email today confirming the trails are closed for a few days.

No problem, time to start up the IDT.  First lap was very nice .... and true as Bob .... RAIN on the second lap ...    :whistling:

If that is a "slow" group, I think I should just give up cycling...

We go as fast as the slowest person.

For us, 26km/h is slow, especially on a flat (roadie) route with a tailwind on the final 3rd - for a group that can finish most 100Km races in less than 3.5 hours.
