I'm going tomorrow to get a quote on tubeless. 3rd puncture on 5 rides FFS.

Currently sitting at casualty waiting for OH to get stitched up. Wiped at the roundabout at rosemary hill. Seems there's some exposed nails. Ripped his knee open

Did 61km this morning - Broadacres plus part of Cradle Route return. The longest ride I've done and I'm now really feeling it. [emoji16] The road parts were ok, but the district roads and single track were the bomb!

Pictures of the knee?

Hahaaa you like the gross stuff don't you.

i couldn't stomach taking a pic with the skin flap lifted. Getting light headed now just thinking about it.

The doctor at casualty asked what happened. .. oh says mountain biking. .. he laughed and said another one. ...

warning for the squeamish...

Go see Wyatt.

Nobody could give me a cheaper price on a tubeless conversion than he did.

Had a great trundle into the Transkei. Met and chatted to many locals, including a few chaps transporting firewood with a sled, anda rasta fisherman. Wheels don't work on the local tracks. Never took pics though because I forgot my camera, and I wasn't about to pull out my phone.

Just South of Dwesa? If that's the case, you should always carry a flyrod with you when you go there.

No, just North of the Kei. Both the estuaries, the Gxara and the Kobonqaba, and another have good pops of Leeries and springer. And the rasta fisherman told me about another river too, which should be worth a try.

The fly rod was left at home though. I need a 4 piece to take with me. My 3 piece is just too long.
