Nope, just an idea in my head. I drove the reverse of the route on my way back from a client the other day, and that planted the wanderlust seed.

Ladysmith to Escourt to Winterton and back - Four intrepid adventurers braved the Battlefields in Northern Natal almost to the day of some of the great battles of 1899.  Tar, Gravel, Heat and big climbs totalled 210kms with 2800m of climbing

trailer park and I had a really long outride in the heat today.......this golf course is kinda in the middle of nowhere .

sun valley par 3 . It's between the R59 & walkerville . It's like an oasis in the middle of the dirt road and nothing but veld . There's also a house just before the golf course and that's all that's on that road.

Yeah, awesome! Rode there a while ago with some guys who know the area well...was hot as hell too, we stopped at the golf club for an ice cold drink on their deck.

join us anytime,always ride in and around there.Anythong from 40 odd to 90kms . Can be stupid hot out there,it was on Sunday. Was shown some new spots recently by Vicanza . Some nice fast single track leading down to barbwire alley.

 

Only problem with stopping there for a nice ice cold drink is you don't want to getting going again if you sit to long ????
