Very impressed with the top picture. It's not easy to get a picture from up there as nicely exposed as you got it. The flats and the far-ground often gets washed out or the fore-ground is under exposed.

Gorgeous photo that one!

Cloud cover helps alot in that pic. the one i took last weekend is exactly as you 'fear', but that's cos of the lack of cloud cover.

I think parted clouds are fantastic for photos: they make for dramatic compositions and exposures, without the need for my pet hate: post processing.

My first ride out at Hoogekraal and Contermans on my new playfull delight! Coming from a Scale 29er to Anthem 650b dual was quite different, but such a jol here on our Tygerberg trails

Nice, I'm so jealous! Was eyeing those new 650 trances a couple of months ago... but I will have to wait for the 2015 models... hehe

... I have to ask... could you feel any difference from the wheel size change? :)

I was pleasantly surprised at how well the 650b rolled, it felt much better than the 29er Hardtail down the new section at Hoogekraal. I could flick the wheels around tight switchbacks and it climbed pretty well too. I felt more the need to get used to full suspension than the smaller sized wheel! Very happy with my purchase and a definite fun investment for the Tygerberg trails

If your surname isn't Scott, you're going to have to change your Hub name to BF Giant. ;) Ag, I'm sommer just jealous! :)

Tokai is a great ride, if you include to mast and silvermyn loop you get a lekke workout and get rewarded with some nice forest singletrack. Problem is there are so many singletrack routes, if you don't know the place or go with someone that know the place you can get a bit frustrated. Tygerberg trails are a bit less "confusing". Haven't been there in the last 6months tho

My bike is broken. I am devastated, I loved my bike. Had to go to town to buy a new one. Spent the day building it up and tomorrow I will try it out. A bit heavier than the Swift Carbon but I hear they are nice to ride.

I rode at Mankele (Mpumalanga). Had an awful start with some mechanical problems (I thought it was purely me being a dumbass rider), almost gave up but was able to fix the problems. Then had route marking issues which wasted 45 minutes. All in the first 5km. Very nearly gave up, but then things started getting awesome. It was an amazing ride to the end.

My bike took me to the views and taught me some life lessons too. :-)
