First pic is on one of the local dirt roads, we had a lot of rainfall last Thursday night (a local farmer told me they had around 110mm in 20 or so minutes) and it was the first real rain of the season. As the ground was so dry most of the water just became a torrential flood and took its anger out on some of the local roads. The pic doesnt show it very well but most of the road is now washed away! I wonder how long this will take to fix! And at least I doscovered the leaks in our new house!

 

Second pic is heading back towards Magalies. A nice leisurely ride on a Friday afternoon!

Here is Susan, she is a regular visitor this time of year bringing tourists into Magalies for a few hours before returning to JHB. This was on Saturday afternoon down at the train station. There are plans to make the station more attractive and benefical to Magalies so lets hope that happens in the future as currently its a bit manky down there and prehaps not the best impression to give to a tourist coming to town!

Sabie noon 2 moon 10 hour this weekend. Anybody doing the Sabie experience 12 December to 16 December should take an extra chain and some brake pads
