Glad to see I am not the only one seeing the potential for risk in a bike like that. But then, what is sexy to me is when the front wheel is stretched away from the front triangle, not brought closer.

I was also wondering about the geometry on such a setup and how different a SML will ride compared to XL for instance. Sleepless nights for sure

If they put these wagon wheels on a small fame, they would:
A. Be silly
B. Have to do all sorts of bendy things with the tubes to get reasonable stand over height

Remember when everyone said.. whoa j! 29inxh is too big but it has huge advantages. Look at us now. We accepted the talk kid in the back of the room, but the trade off is his called his cousin, because cyclist are suckers for tech or is it, our wallets? LOL.

it might not win in the looks department because the weight of those tires will not be under 1.1kg so essentially your outter rolling mass now increases. But I’d be very interested in it’s ride characteristics as that what made 29 rule over thE now dead 26inch. I’m wondering if this actually would be easier to pedal but I’m thinking disc brakes might need to jump up in size… let’s say a 275? 🫢

They taking this seriously as they road showing it now so… clearly WTB are wanting to be first in line of the market bites. Word has it that China already are tooled up ready for the knock off spin if this takes off. So let’s see, if 700c gets a big brother and then we call it quits on bicycle wheel size for good!

Slack is Good, but not too Slack,

That gravel bike 5 posts back is way too Slack for a Gravel Bike (Pig on the Climbs)

This will surprise you. It actually climbed well but was a complete dog on the downs. Opposite of you would expect. Except on super smooth single track  Then it was ok.
