zeerpuD1 Posted March 16 Share Bikes should be allowed as it is a bike race😊 I think you want to know if e-bikes are allowed?

Yep its not cheap. But then its not as if there are loads of alternative R300 races around in Cape Town anymore either 🤷♂️ Haven't ridden Lourensford in ages and since I'm not doing Epic or W2W anytime soon I am keen to go through for this race. BuffsVintageBikes Posted March 18 Share I bitched and moaned about the price last year as well (see old thread), until I went and rode the event. It's pretty damn amazing and this year I'll pay the R700 without complaining 😄 Those Lourensford trails are incredible... oh, and don't forget the "free" Spur burger afterwards 🙃 🤙 Kom, El Duderino, waveduke and 1 other 3
cadenceblur Posted March 18 Share lekker - which one did you do? Do both the 40km and 59km have great trails?

Mamil Posted March 18 Share I am developing an allergy to the word "iconic". It's a lekker race for sure - unfortunately doesn't fit with this year's aims ChrisF

Lourensford is a unique place where a rider can climb more than descend and still start and finish in the same spot. Must be a wormhole somewhere there. dev null Posted March 18 Share It is an XCM race, so I would think the e-bikes would not be allowed. It is not an MTB fun ride.
