unfinished business is the only thing that had me going back year after year. Once that score was settled the desire was no longer there.

My fitst Atta I had a mechanical @20km (wheel related) and last year was just toooo hot for me.  Had to bail at the second water point.

That's what I feel about this race - loved the one I did a few years back but it's a big logistical effort - strangely feels more logistical load than trans baviaans although they both point to point -

Still - the FOMO is real

If you drive there with your own car, logistics is very easy with the car shuttle service between Oudtshoorn and Pine Creek. If you need to fly and rent a car, it gets pricey.

Yeah cost would be crazy doing it solo.
