Safety of Woodstock Bridge Route - Peak Traffic times

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I need to return to the office and used to commute from R27, N1, Woodstock to and from the office.  This route has not been safe lately.  I'm just wondering if anyone has comment on the safety of this route during peak traffic times (say 07:00 and 16:00-17:00).   When there are more cars on the road, I suspect there would be significantly reduced risk of attacks.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Adrian

Thanks, I've seen this before.  But the N1 is much quieter on the weekends.  Mid-week, there is much more traffic on the road but I'm still a little nervous about considering this.

I would absolutely not ride there at any time of the day - I used to do it 3 or 4 times a week but anecdotally it appears that there is no safe time at the moment

Unfortunately, traffic is not going to keep you safe from the attackers.

No - these okes will push one rider off the bike, cause a big crash, and be gone before we've even uttered out first expletive.
