I just read the bit on the other Dutch superstitions and I must say they are all funny, except for the one where a guy feels he has to wear another blokes underpants....

Sportsmen and women are often superstitious and the Dutch football team has also been known to keep strange habits.

 

Johan Cruijff always made sure he left the changing room last, tapped the goal keeper’s stomach and spat his chewing gum over the centre line before the first whistle blew. Ajax player Sjaak Swart had his daughter kiss his shoes before matches and Gerrie Mühren sometimes used to wear Swart’s underwear. Dutch Goalie Hans van Breukelen (European champion in 1988) wore a medal with a picture of Pope John XXIII

Mine works no doubt, I haven't fallen off my bike since I got it ..... oh maybe I should mention I haven't been riding my bike so maybe that's why I haven't fallen off :unsure:

Yes it does. it does exactly what is should do. it restorers the balance, it makes dummer people poorer and smarter people richer

And finally definitive proof they do not work:

 

I strapped one on my Cannondale today to see how long it would balance by itself using only a Power Balance Bracelet.

 

I started the stopwatch and let go my bike - it promptly fell over !!

 

I repeated the experiment ten times all with the same result.

 

Balance Bracelets do not work !!
