Blixem dis mooi!,

Thanks

That's a beauty. That colouring from frame through to fork is just awesome.

On a side note, Ardents front and back... Great choice. I find mine stick like glue!

To be honest, I am not tyre fussy, I grab whatever I have long around, except for my Ritchey where I run the Surly Knard.

It's soooo nice. [emoji108]

Thank you squire .

I was wondering, what gearing do you guys use for singlespeed riding in real mountains?

(and on which wheelsize is that?)

It seems so hard. Coming from the flat country of The Netherlands single speed is nothing special. Even the XC tracks don't have more than 40m difference in height. So you can just speed up during the downhills so you'll make it easily up the uphills, even without gears. But what if the uphills are 10 minutes long? Do you walk or just have a very small gearing on your ss bike?

I'm a average rider and I use a 32 x 18 here in Midrand but we do not have any mountains here.

Dit bly darem maar mooi.

I think we would organize a get together of all the frames with bogus custom designs.

Will make for some awesome bike porn and drooling

Which Knards are you running?

I have seen your bike, it is light, tight and sharp. ....call it scalpel, note the small s.

When if you get a big bad bike with lots of travel or a jump bike tit can call that bone saw

Oh, Hairy. You're a man after my own heart!

Here's Bone Saw ;)

It's good to start with a 32x20. I run a 33x20. As you get stronger you'll maybe want to move to a 19t. Oh, I'm on a 29er.

I ride Jonkers,Tokai, Tygerberg trails (dorsberg) and Table Mountain on mine. It's tough, but very rewarding, I love it!

I just had a trouser incident....................

I'd be so conflicted if I owned this. On the one hand, it's art and should be hung on a wall, on the other hand, it's a machine and needs to be used.
