  1. I had a similar problem on a Trojan. (Similar BB to the picture) The Bearings Were Loose on the Frame. I noticed some Play. Used Epoxy to Fix It. It Lasted A Couple of Years but Turfed it due to Other Problems.
  2. Best Time for Modders is Autumn and Winter up to Early Spring. During Summer the Yellow Route is always Overgrown and It's been the same for the last five years no mater who is receiving the cash. I had great Expectations for the New Kids on the Block but Nah, the Disappointment is still there. As for the Mud Well It is called Modders.
  3. You can also get a handlebar mount for Garmin Watches. A Chest Heart Rate Monitor can be paired if required. This Configuration Protects the Watch in case of a Fall. https://buy.garmin.com/en-ZA/ZA/p/11078
  4. I use 5mm Plastic Coated Cable Looped through a bracket in the car with a padlock. Cable and other parts available by the meter from Robot Hardware quite cheap.
  5. https://99spokes.com/bikes/scott/2017/spark-940 https://99spokes.com/bikes/scott/2017/spark-950 Lots of Stuff. Wheels and Hubs Headset Derailleur Front and Rear Suspension is much better Front and Rear on the 940 Drive Train Crank Brakes etc. I found the 950 to be a Shitty to Average Bike and the 940 to be an Excellent Bike. This applies only to 2017 model and not later or earlier models. I'm Also Looking for a 940 (Medium)
  6. I'm Using One With a Garmin FR35 Works Like a Dream. (Ant+). It also Connects to Strava App for Android (Bluetooth Smart) but I've Not Tested it Yet on a Ride. The Strap is not as plush as the Polar but it Works 4 Me. I'm thinking of buying another one for backup.
  7. You can get one Custom Built for your Unique Physique. https://mercerbikes.co.za/custom-bicycles/
  8. FD Adjustment Series including Chain Length. Maybe Its not Chain Suck but Chain Drop.
  9. https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=tVqfHodoCP4WgTbssnysI7&productID=641449&tab=topics For Most watches and Devices that have the problem currently.
  10. Better to Speak to the Specialized Agents Directly.
  11. You can do more with the Watch. (If it's a choice between the 2) If you can Afford Both ............... Garmin Watch is Just as Accurate as the Bike Computer GPS Wise and you can get a Bike Mount for the Watch as Well as Chest Strap HRM.
  12. If you need to travel to "work" during curfew hours you can get a permit from your company. If you happen to use a bicycle as your means of transport to get to "work" then such permit will apply.
  13. It's becoming difficult to buy on the Hub. People are asking too much for the goods and there is not much choice. Maybe it's a Covid thing...........
  14. If It can be Fixed Steve can do It. http://www.smartcoprojects.co.za/ If it cannot be fixed Steve will tell you so. I'm a Happy Customer.
  15. If there are No Other Problems, when the knobs in the center of the tread are more than halfway worn down.
  16. It's a Pity that the New Fork Feeling doesn't Last for Long
  17. Get the Spoke Tension Checked and Adjusted and replace only broken spokes. Spokes that are Over Tension Snap easy on the Hub Side. If you are Jumping with the bike ..............
  18. Both those Products are "TOP" and you can service any fork or shock using them.
  19. Why R we Seeing all those Filings ? Something Wrong There. Take it to a Bike Shop for Advice. I Like Rapide Stuff because it's Affordable (But It has gone up recently). But at the end of the day it's all Generic Stuff (Rebranded). The Saddle I Bought is a Velo branded Rapide.
  20. I use both Strava APP for Android and Garmin Watch at the same time. The App is just as Accurate as the Watch and a lot more reliable. Never had a Glitch on the App but the Watch has Glitched a Few Times. (Corrupt Fit File).
  21. Normally the Bike Shops don't keep Stock but they will Order 4 U.
