  3. Is that like the equivalent to an average winters day in SA?
  4. Not sure if I am happy or insulted ????
  5. Same picture as used in another thread ???? I feel cheated!!!
  6. All shops can make a mistake, Mellow Velo was awesome when I bought my bike from them, but after I got my bike back from the 1st service they had broken the chain guide, and I know they broke it because I checked it before I took the bike in, but they wouldn't own up to it. I am pissed off about it, but that doesn't mean I can say that their service in its entirety is ***, just because one bad thing happened to one person doesn't mean the whole shop is now bad
  7. I dont know what the big deal is, he makes it look easy....????
  8. PWC is in a terrible state, at least it was when I last went there, the jumps are all eroded, the 2 drops in the skills section were also in a shoddy state, but the trails are still quite fun I guess. The jumps at Wolwespruit are excellent for learning on, I am pretty bad at jumping, but the jumps there make me look good, they are really well built and very learner friendly, I haven't been to Grootfontien for a while now, I need to go back there soon, but all this talk of Wolwespruit now has made the decision easy for where I will be riding on Saturday ????
  9. Wolwespruit is a far better place to learn to jump, Grootfontien is awesome for drops with a nice progression from teeny to MASSIVE (to me at least) drops
  10. I got an Elite TUO (Toaster), I will either be using my phone mirrored onto the TV or a laptop
  11. So I have just bought myself an IDT, finally, is their any tips/advice you guys can share with me before I start my journey?
  12. The new one? I want one so bad ???? didnt you have the Fluid before?

  14. Not all Chads wear lycra, just so you know....
  15. I have not, the guy from Zen Bike skills did help me out and give me some tips at the last DRI though, I have been meaning to go for some coaching, funds are just tight at the moment. Barry Crouse also does coaching, he is a PYGA salesman in Gauteng, I dont have his number, but I am sure any PYGA dealer will be able to get his number for you
  16. Zen Bike skills Mastering MTB skills
  17. Most Sportsmans Warehouse stock a fair range of MucOff product
  18. I am also missing this, the "new" my cotent tab does not have the same function as the old one, it was much easier to see what threads you had been participating in before, and which of those threads had new posts to read
  19. Maxxis Rekon front and Ardent at the back
  20. Nope, R17k is what those bikes sell for now, scary hey, last year the Stride SX was R12k
  21. I wish I had just taken the plunge and got Cura 4 when I got my Shimano SLX 4pot brakes, I have really liked the Shimano brakes, but everything I read about the Cura 4 makes me wish I had just got them
  22. If it is Guide R or RE levers I can understand the shocking brake performance, they are crappy, my previous bike had Guide R on it, they were terrible, swapped to RS levers and it made a substantial improvement to the braking performance, as far as I remember Guide calipers are all the same, all the "magic" happens in the levers
  23. Guides are 4 pot brakes though????
  24. Front wheel is not quite straight either, appalling picture quality...
