  1. Guess I know where to go when I want to get my one painted, that looks awesome ????????
  2. It is Hennops MTB trails
  3. I have a small 50lt compressor in my garage, it only gets used to dry the bike off really, I suppose if I can't get a tyre to seat then it will be used for that, but the floor pump I got from Sportsmans for R300 has never not seated a tyre, never had a problem using it, so....
  4. So good to be outside, what a day....
  5. An early morning ride, the air was nice and crisp
  6. I have used Coca-Cola and green Scotch Brite pads successfully to remove surface rust
  7. Honestly have no idea if that still works, but, this old man has had these bikes just sitting in storage for YEARS, so I wouldn't be surprised if it does, they have 2 bikes there, this one and a ladies bike as well
  8. Sent you a message ????
  9. Ah, I did not know this, it is an oldish 26" MTB frame, so my search will continue
  10. I thought it would as well, maybe a "hollowtech" type crank would work, but this BB is similar to a square taper BB, and I think it is to wide, so it is well past the centre of the cassette
  11. Shimano website says it is a 2x11, also doesn't make sense to me, so I wanted to find out from people who know more than me
  12. Thanks Jewy, looking for something along the lines of a 32/48 or 34/50 Actually, this may work, do you know if the 26 can be changed to like a 30 or 32?
  13. Just "finished" building up a monstercross bike, but the Crankset I have on it is not ideal, it is a 3x FSA crankset, but I am running it as a 2x setup, and in doing so the chain line is not great so I would like to replace it with a proper 2x crankset, I might be able to get a 2x11 crankset from a friend, but I am running 2x10, so I would like to know if I can run the 2x11 crankset with the 10speed cassette and chain?
  14. Thanks guys ????
  15. They are asking R2k for it, do you think it is worth that?
  16. Hey guys, so there is this bike at an "auction" place near my work, just wondering if it is really worth anything, needs quite a lot of work, but thought it may be a fun project, or is it not really worth it for a bike like this? Sorry, the pictures aren't great
  17. Whoops, typo, R150
  18. Was at Cycle Lab in Boksburg earlier and they have some really nice tubeless valves with that alloy piece behind the sealing rubber, they have a couple different colors available as well, sadly they all have black plastic caps, but anyway, they are R150 a set if anyone is interested, will post a picture tomorrow
  19. So she ain't all that pretty at the moment, but it is a working bike, need a quick link for the chain and then I can go for a test ride After a couple of rides I will strip it down, maybe replace the crank with a proper 2x crank and have a nice paint job done and get a decent saddle and bar tape
  20. On one of Yoann Barelli's bike check videos he mentioned some hack he did to make the bottle more secure, and I think if it works for him then it should work for pretty much anyone
  21. What about the Fabric cageless water bottle?
  22. Was just at Wayne to get some parts, man these are good looking frames????
  23. Please show me another bike with similar spec for the same price or R20k more, I would even go as far as R50k, I haven't seen anything
  24. Thanks, it is for a set of Fulcrum wheels, but no one is getting back to me on whether or not they can get adapters for them
