Help me out here quick - same question, however my BB shell is 46mm diameter and 73mm width. The GXP pressfit BB is about 42mm diameter. What is the adaptor called that Im looking for and where to fnd it? Do I just have shims/spacers machined? What are the options?

If been riding GXP for about 2 years now - no serious issues. After a wet/muddy ride - just take off the outer seals and inject some waterproof/marine grease with a syringe ( no needle) and close it up again. Its mostly the non-driveside that has issues - this is also the easier side to service. You can also get a BB rebuild form Spokeworks at about R 300 I think - still much cheaper that CK. However - CK would prob have less maintenance.

Also look at Serfas shoes - retail at about R 650 I think. Good value for money - I think cyclesonline has them. Worth taking a look - bought some for my Dad and he is REAL happy with them
