Mclaren looking like its done a 6 week fab fitness challenge looking back at the Renault power plant
That can only cause a shlt load of unnecessary extra drag and hamper good air flow over the rear wing
If its a choice between instant and Nespresso then Nespresso wins.
At work my choices are Frisco, some or other machine that just takes instant coffee and powdered milk and mixes it for you or not drinking coffee. I choose not to have coffee, but have contemplated bringing my spare nespresso machine in.
I'd also take Nespresso over some coffees offered at certain eateries. Its not freshly roasted and freshly ground good, but its not as bad as you guys make it out to be. Sure some of the pods are hit and miss.
Agree, much much better than instant. Nespresso in an emergency yes, but instant, just no, then I rather drink water.
You clearly still think Koffiehuis is coffee.
That and the other instants counted as coffee when I was something like 5 years old. I grew a brain in the mean time ...
So sorry to hear shlt like this. Lesson learnt, wait for the money to show in your account before you hand over anything or if dealing on the hub, insist on hubpay.
If he only had more stock!! I can't order my goodies :-(
Same here, wanted to order rims, no stock ...
My Mechanic is a wizard!
Quote: "Watch what happens when Van Aert tries to climb with the Cervelo, he is going to fall back!"
Please educate me, why is that? I'm no roadie and know stuff-all about road bikes, but what is wrong vir Cervelo (or WvA's Cervelo)?
Why did your mechanic say that?
Yeah, you sort of wasting your time posting on here ....
That stuff taste crap anyway, the snobs can have it all to them self.
Also less money wasted on something that is anyway mostly spilled & wasted.
Thanks a lot.
Looks fantastic.A bit far to travel but will be worth it.Spend the day and have a nice picnic or braai after the ride. Can one leave your car at the picnic area?
Yes, normally there is a lot of cyclists cars parked there. As safe as any place in SA though ... .
I normally take my wife & daughter with, I cycle while they have a fun drive through the reserve.
Can one buy an annual card of some sort?
Never ridden there and keen to do so on a regular basis

R280 per adult for 6 months.
Does it fall under Sanparks?
Nope: Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (GDARD)
I had a set of fulcrums for a day! LOL, it turns out I am too heavy for them, so check the weight restriction. Also welded rim joins seem to last better than pinned ones.
Weight restriction is 110kg, I'm properly under that so should be OK.
Got new rims after I destroyed my previous front rim. Besides being very narrow and flimsy rims, it snapped on the seem at about 8km into a ride at Modderfontein, had to walk my @rse off back to the start ... .
New rims fitted and what a big difference, I didn't think the feel would be so much different, a lot more solid & stable. Although I added a few grams to the weight, its worth it. Can now fit much wider tyres as a added bonus.
Fulcrum Red Zone 7 rims. Anyone else have these? What's your opinion on them?
My offer still stands, I am more than willing to do the leg work on my end to have the frame which I have here powder coated and then assemble it for them. I have tried to upload some kiekies but the bloody files remain too big.
IMO, the original spray job is done quite well. It is just a white frame so that may not appeal to everyone. We can have decals made as well.
Basically all I would want is the money for the parts and or the powder coating if it comes to that. If it's going to be more than R4k then that's a lot
I like the idea to still give him a decent bike for ~R4k.
Lets see what Andrew managed to get on such a low budget, holding thumbs for something half decent.
@Andrew, did you see this one?

In Gauteng, look in good condition, maybe price a bit high?
Hope this is the right place, lol.
ADVICE NEEDED PLEASE!!
I'm looking to downgrade from XT to SLX, but my setup now is 2x10 and I'm looking for a 1x12. Should I go for 2nd hand or is this one of those things that you buy new cuz it's better?
What exactly do you have now? Some photos would make it a lot easier to help and make suggestions.
Agree, SLX is solid and not expensive, so yes rather go new. You will need a Microspline freehub body though, thats why its important to know what you have now in terms of rear hub and crankset brand & model as examples.
Gets awkward if Sainz starts beating le Clerc......
Would certainly make things vey interesting. I dont see that happening though, Le Clerc is a very good driver and have the advantage that he know the p o s car, at least for the first number of races anyway ...
Well ... it look pretty awesome, lets hope its fast ...
Thanks for the effort Buff & Andrew. I saw the bikes are going like hot cakes ... .
Look like a major problem on part stock also, I destroyed my front rim this morning, it was a battle to get a replacement.
Bike Addict- Don't bother buying there after sales support Pathetic!

Sounds like I was just lucky, bought 2 or 3 times from them without an issue.
It does irritate me however that they are not a online shop in the true sense of the word. They need to get into the 20th century, maybe there will be less of these issues as mentioned then.
