I did the long distance and they also never mentioned where the finish was... We were all sprinting for the flags and all got a surprise when we got there and still had to make the turn! Almost crashed as a result!

That's something great then. I weigh 73kg, so it's definitely not that. I think I rode the first generation of the 50mm clinchers. May have to try out a set again as I wouldn't mind purchasing a set of the 50mm clinchers

Those 50mm clinchers from DH, do they still flex a lot? I rode a set about a year ago as a demo and found they had quite a lot of flex when placed under power... Has this been rectified?

Edge 500 is a brilliant device. The additional features on the 510 aren't worth the extra cash

It's not your responsibility to put those costs. If the insurance wants those wheels for salvage, then they must pay for them. None of the insurance companies say that you must pay in the policy

Jatho, My dad's XX RD was doing the exact thing. Replaced the jockey wheels with a set of aonx (something like that from cwc) fixed the problem.

The route was terrible with all the speed bumps! Lots of people nearly crashed going over them!

At 1390g for a 50mm clincher set, it's very good value for money. I'm just not sure how stiff they are? In comparison, I have ridden darkhorse wheels before and they flex like crazy! Any advice would be appreciated!

It would seem that the GoPro mounts have a serious design flaw. In the last 3 months, I know of two mounts that just broke during a normal road ride. It would appear that the mounts have some issues handling the bumps. The first GoPro hit the ground and was damaged and the second GoPro my friend managed to catch the camera before it hit the deck.

There is a reason almost all riders use Gaters... For the price they have great puncture resistance and are a lot better than most other tyres for grip! I will always use these tyres, and they last for 1000's of kilometers... For races I use the conti GP4000 tubbies
