  1. I was just about to reply, I have one but the STD on a Trek Topfuel Large is 170mm
  2. I am sure if you take it to a BMG dealer they will be able to get you an alternative.
  3. They quote the price on the website, we have to pay TAX(That was their excuse, why I asked why 16.99 went off) on that, that is why ours end up at 16.99USD.
  4. Thanks for the feedback, lets give them a bit of time to sort it out, hopefully it will be worthwhile soon.
  5. I got the same error, when I updated the Directx, it started but now it hangs or crashes when I want to pair the trainer, seem like you need a machine with at least 16gb ram.
  6. OK, tried it on my Laptop but it seems like it needs a proper machine, I have a Lenono Ideapad 370, 8 gig Ram, and it crashes as soon as I want to pair any trainer to it, they say Minimum is 16 gig, It uses the "unreal engine" for the graphics, My Samsung A32 works but could not care for the small screen.
  7. Hi All, I see My whoosh, has been mentioned and free to use, I see there is support for PC, android and IOS, have installed it and will give it a go tonight and report back, the R300 towards Zwift can go elsewhere in my budget.
  8. I feel the same way, also the cost to get to the events with the high fuel price, even just to get to a MTB track to have some fun, we either ride there have a short ride and ride back or ride there in one vehicle.
  9. Question remains, is it over, I see some specials running but might be old stock or will there be more bargains up very soon.
  10. Same thing happening in the US, se youtube.
  11. As posted on another thread, 3kva(2400w) inverter, with 2 x 100AH deep cycle Gel batteries in series for a 24v system, it is fully automated, I do not even know when the power goes off a small beep from the garage where my DB is located, I have used the dishwasher and washing washing at the same time with no issues, I have not seen the batteries anywhere below 70%, the best money I have spent, the whole system cost me around R14k and did all the work myself. Have to add the inverter is Solar ready with a built in 30A MPPT
  12. You called it, you can start one.
  13. Yes, the wife actually used the washing maching and Dishwasher at the same time, with the 55" TV and a few lights the system was sitting at 80% but as the dishwasher's heating cycle completed, the load went down. Just watch out for the smaller inverters, normally they have modified sine wave.
  14. I am in a Townhouse, got a 3kva(2400W), Full sine wave inverter with 2 x 100AH batteries(in series), split the DB my self, the only things that are not on back-up power is the Geyser and Oven, we have a gas hob, We can just not use the electric kettle(when we are in a hurry) and the Microwave together and so far I have not even got to 50% of the batteries capacity, the smart inverter has a battery conditioning cycle which is quite cool, All of my light in the house are LED between 5 watt for Bedside lamps and 9watt for ceiling lights, the best money I have spent in ages, we don't even know when the power goes out, the lights flash for a split second and a beep.
  15. I am not sure if anyone has mentioned it, maybe I have mentioned it before "Squirt seal" - STAY AWAY, I hade endless issues, I still have almost a Full bottle in my garage with the bead - anyone that wants it are more than welcome to collect in the east rand - Free.
  16. Google any one that does "wrap my rides" they will be able to supply the Clear Vinyl. I have to do my Trek as well, a bit too late though, I already got some scratches on it.
  17. I had the same injury in 2019, went for surgery, they did the "wire" thing and it came loose(after another fall, I think), I have left it, the only issue I have is my right "shoulder bone" sit a bit higher and when I do technical mountain biking I feel stiff in my right shoulder, other than that, I am good. Recovery is not too long but not nice for me being right handed, and the right hand side being immobilized.
  18. Thanks for the heads-up, will be using them with Tubes on my wife's bike, still a bargain at 750
  19. Did you guys see, Cycle lab has a special on GP5000 Tubeless 700x 25c for R750 each
  20. Go to keanbikes, I got mine from him, everything comes with the Fork, even the race where the bearing goes and the Carbon grip-nut, I converted a Silverback Sola to a Rigid fork with some 70 x 38 C Gravel tires, I am very happy, he is a bit cheaper than Rapide. @KEANBIKESsales1
  21. Some person quoted a 5KVA system, that is a proper system.!!
  22. I have a "Smaller" system 2.4kw Inverter with 2 x 105AH 12V batteries and comfortably runs my trainer with Fibre and and a FAN for the hour that I normally workout. I have to add, I installed the Inverter system through my DB board, so for most of my house its business as usual, everything in my small house except for Geyser and Stove(oven) runs from my system.
  23. I have a Mechanical Ultegra R8000 and love the feel of the front shifting of the R8000, it almost feel like a "snap-over" when you go from small to big blade, just because of spares availability I will stick to my Mechanical Ultegra, although not much wrong with the 10 speed Di2
  24. I got spoiled a while ago, I bought a second hand Trek Domane5.9 with 10 speed Di2 it was a treat to ride and the external battery lasted "forever" , until the bike got written by insurance, I now have Ultegra R8000 very nice but can not compare to Di2, saying that when the Ultegra has new cables and adjusted properly it is very nice and can not justify the expense to "upgrade"
  25. Lets hope the "old stock" Rim brake Ultegra Di2, goes on sale soon so I can get my hands on a set.
