  1. Got my Gaggia machine and grinder power coated black
  2. Looking for a 26 inch front wheel, QR, with disc hub and maybe a tire (even crossmarks or small block etc will work), if any one has one going begging. Trying to keep a mates bike running. I can build up a wheel if you have some components.
  3. I have a pair of Freeriders and Impact XVI's. The Freeriders are like takkies, while the Impacts have a ridiculously solid, stiff, thick rubber sole, so I wouldn't class all 5.10's together. Actually took me a couple week to get used to the the Impacts, didn't like them at all initially as there was no feedback through my feet, but I've grown to love them and I know they will last for a good couple more years.
  4. Which 5.10's? There is a big difference between for instance the Impacts and Freerider soles, how thick they are and stiffness.
  5. https://www.scramble.nl/civil-news/conflict-resolved-b747-400s-can-leave-twente-airport The 747's can now leave...
  6. Found this on Facebook for anyone interested...
  7. You might get away with the careful application of a pair of waterpump pliers, with some leather in the jaws to protect the surface. Not ideal but will get you back on the bike for a while if the structure is not compromised. Take your time and be patient, then check the trueness of the wheel afterwards.
  8. Awesome build! Can I ask why you moved from the Evil Following? I find it strange that people rave about the Evil, but there is a constant stream of them in classifieds.
  9. Looking for a left side Problemsolver Mismatch 1.1 Shimano i-Spec B brakes to Sram style shifter. With all the x1 conversions, someone must have in the bottom of their tool box? If all else fails, I'll go the 3D printed route
  10. Any trail maps available? I'm very keen to ride!
  11. Back at work too
  12. Remember a video years back in the USA with a similar hanger door fitted, helicopter took off a little close to the hanger and put its tail into the door!
  13. Won't even see the repair
  14. Thanks! This answers one question I was wondering about on my YT OEM wheels, I can now prepare for future servicing. Could you share this manual? Been wanting to do a basic air can service for a friend, but there are no doc available! Even the specialists guys don't like to touch these things!
  15. WTB i29 is a decent rim to start with.
  16. From Ukraine
  17. I'm sitting with a PID in the cupboard, waiting for a good deal on a Silvia to install it in. My Gaggia still has the old "pea" valve setup without solenoids, so feel the PID might be wasted on it
  18. I've got a Hario Skereton hand grinder for my Aeropress, was around the R700 mark if I recall. Deluxe normally has good prices on their grinders and accessories. I might get crucified, but Checkers now has there own Skereton knock off, almost identical, ceramic grinder with extra glass bowl for something like R250. Tested one out and results were similar to the Hario unit. At that price you have nothing to loose.
  19. King Air was at Cape Town intl today doing the ILS calibration
  20. I also struggled with pedal strike on the Jeffsy, even my 26" Trance was better. But with time my technique change slightly and don't strike nearly as much. Like the others said, never bothered with the high setting... just add some crank boots
  21. I did my renewal 100% online, sent scanned and certified copies of everything. Just takes time and patience, oh and did I say time! Just sent a courier to pic it up once it was ready. Didn't bother with Aviation Assist this time, though friends have done so
  22. That reminds me, I need to get to deluxe before we have a state of emergency!
  23. That's going in the classifieds as "like new condition" or maybe "only one lady owner"
  24. Throw the old one my way... an Insert should fix that
  25. There is no other aircraft in SA with the correct calibration equipment. An aircraft has been arranged apparently and is on its way from Europe this month, but had some delays due to snags and then the crew needing to isolate for 2 weeks on arrival.
