  1. This. The wider the base (distance between the beads) the stronger the structure will be, up to a point.
  2. Only internationally. Rush don't bring em in.
  3. 1 - yes, partially, but IMO they're more hassle and actually weigh more than a proper casing tyre would. 2 - yes. Most definitely. Fewer issue with aliens in your sealant, proper strength sidewalls and less squirm. DD / DH >>>>>>> Exo & insert. FAR tougher, no wobbling inserts in the tyres (a real thing, trust me) and it's far less likely to tear / cut than the exo. Also lower likelihood of flatting due to the extra material. This also protects the rim to an extent. Did I say stronger? 3: Wider rims provide a better & stronger support base for the tyre. Narrower rims wouldn't mitigate the dings, if anything they'd perpetuate them given the same riding style. 4 - you ride the HT differently. Less smash, more float. It makes a huge difference. Had the FOAMOs in 3 sets of tyres. Aggressor 2.3, Spaz Slaughter 2.6 & an Onza Citius. Took it out when I changed to stronger tyres and I haven't looked back.
  4. I'd honestly do the local thing. Speaking from experience, fit is radically different across the diff manufacturers and the last thing you wanna do is order what you think is your size, only for it to be too big / small.
  5. firstly, you're gonna get whacked on import duties if you ship clothing / shoes in to SA. Locally, five tens are between 2500 and 3000 depending on the source and type. Those ones you've linked to @ 1150 will be 1750 ex shipping once duties and VAT are included. Secondly, you can't use online international stores to compare against a local price, without also including the duties and VAT you'll have to pay. Unless you're getting your fam to bring them in, in which case you may need to pay import duties and VAT as well if they get held up at customs. Locally, all the shoes are about the same price, with Spaz 2fo's being the cheapest (I think) at 2,200. Locally, ION are cheaper than 5-10.
  6. Bahahahahahaha!!! That's funny.... Cos they're actually cheaper.
  7. Yep, and fuelled by active rewards, card spend and your drive / spend / VAR goals.
  8. Nope. Again, random. Sometimes you'll see max 100, sometimes 300. Just like the old ones, where not every board had a diamond or a flight or a holiday etc.
  9. If I remember correctly, I read a tech piece a few years ago where the writer's hypothesis was that anything slacker than a 61 or 62 degree head angle would result in more fore-and-aft movement on the fork than actual suspension movement. I personally think that the grade of the descent will have a role to play in that, but I also wouldn't want to ride that bike on flat-ish trails for that reason (among others) Will be interesting to see, though!!
  10. But, the whole goal of the film was to get more people to try veganism. That's not a bad thing, and it's worked.
  11. Just note that there was exceptionally bad "science" in this piece. The move to more plant based food sources is great, don't get me wrong. But the film itself is riddled with false conjecture, cherry picked "fact" and loads of skewed opinion.
  12. Yessssss I generally make my own, and hand out / sell to mates just to make back the production cost. I use primarily red habanero peppers, but would love to try using reapers in future sauces. And agree with WP. Cannot just be hot or piled with extract (which gives that crap aftertaste) It must be full of flavour.
  13. That's not difficult though, to be fair
  14. Nope. Perfect.
  15. Well, one of my goals for 2019 was realised. Reducing post count year on year. Far lower this year compared to last ones.
  16. The editing in the initial scenes... ????‍♂️????‍♂️????‍♂️ No flow and a standard "last ditch" Star-Wars recipe for success. Rey was overdone, in an attempt to make her more relatable, imo. A solid meh. Beautiful visuals, though. And that little dude fixing 3po. ????
  17. There is no easy way. Up to the silvermine gate, then on to the Silvermine loop or whatever you wanna call it. That steep ass concrete dual track is the only way.
  18. Hahahahahahahaha Poor Tim just can't leave this place.
