Not a Rocky Mountain? 🤥
Good to see you are sharing your opinion on a bike and have some of the facts....
I know this is a thread for "amateur" 3D printing but it might be worth considering getting a print done. We use Mentis (Home - Mentis3D) for work, parts printed with nylon looks better and feels way stronger. It looks like they also have a metal printer now. Process is usually very easy, you simply upload your STL's, pay with credit card and they deliver quick.
Sorry if someone has mentioned them previously.

Okay...
Piket-bo-Berg was always a nice outing, not sure I'm fit enough to tackle it now though.
At last a "good" article on this.

I get that they have sponsors to keep happy but it just feels so weird having to say "Momentum Medical Scheme Cape Pioneer Trek, presented by Biogen" every single time instead of just saying Cape Pioneer Trek.
Sort of feels like having to say, I drive a Toyota Hilux powered by Shell diesel and using BF Goodrich Tires every time someone asks you about you car... I suppose it's a small sacrifice given the fact that it costs almost half of what a Cape Epic entry would set you back.
I get patents but something like this doesn't really feel novel enough to have been patented in the first place and MRP beat them both to market.

Who started this battle?
Jeepers, this is a hectic story!
Some handy new things to print...
I can also recommend the 70cc OneUp. It is expensive but it is really well made and super handy to store a tool or CO2 cartridge inside.

Chances are very slim that you have tubular tires (the ones glued on), the bead might just be stubborn. Perhaps post a photo of the wheel (with valve) in question?
The valve could have torn from the tube or it has a puncture and air is escaping through the easiest place.
Ouch! I broke the chainstay on my 2014 Rocky Mountain Instinct and luckily they still had stock available.
If I'm not mistaken as Stumpjumper swingarm could also work for your Camber.
I think most people (myself included) are spoiled with GPS's and struggle to remember/interpret maps. Trailforks works quite well but I think a QR code or something similar at the trailhead would make life a lot easier for the average user. Some comments on the pictures:
1. Satellite maps works well as you can easily orientate yourself in the area.
2. Simplified maps is nice but adding contour lines could make it a bit easier to orientate yourself in the area.
3. Metro maps works well if you want to plan a ride but routes should be marked well.
Thanks @EasyBike. Ideally I would like a 6X Sapphire but they are super expensive...
Any Fenix 6's planned for the sale?
Great initiative!
Some really nice reviews and guides on Bikepacking.com (https://bikepacking.com/). Although some (most) of these items is not available locally its still an interesting read.
I agree, super annoying.
At least you don't have to enter your credit card details for a "free trial".
I also tried buying tires locally for my Krampus and ended buying WTB Ranger TCS Tough 29x3's from Bike24 a while back. This compariative review might also be a good start.

I wouldn't mind Maxxis Chronicles...
Year model is important folks!!

Couldn't agree more!
I once engaged with someone just assuming a bike without any stickers was a Rocky Mountain. What do I get for my "help", this...
"In the future when you share your opinion on a bike, please make sure you have some facts."
Coming from the guy that had no idea what bike he was selling this was bold. In future I'll just report ads as fraudulent and be on my merry way. Another lesson learnt, don't comment on pricing, what you are willing to pay is not always "market value" as seen by the seller or some clueless insurance broker...
