  1. New Norco looks sweet; Think it just moved above the ripley on my new bike want list;
  2. Or 2003's kamp staaldraad.
  3. For me it’s more like, fully kitted with bib shorts, helmet, shoes etc and ready to hit the road, and...
  4. Yeah. Looks tiny actually. Forced perspective. Could probably eat 2, with some fries.
  5. That’s basically 2 Justin Beabers and an e-bike. [emoji51] 89 kg here. Bike is not the lightest.
  6. Yeah, at that price it's a no-brainer. They do get pretty hot when you wear them.
  7. Nice bike. First Pyga I like. Seems a bit on the heavy side at over 14 kg -with that spec there’s not much weight to shed except for tyres. But I guess this due sharing the same frame with the bigger brother, slakline.
  8. A lubricant can only reduce friction and heat, and therefore reduce wear on parts. The presence of any abrasive will still cause wear. Just think of cutting and grinding fluids in metal working - oil will actually help drilling, tapping and grinding processes of metals.
  9. Ouch, just checked out the pricing now. If I do decide to pull the trigger, I'll in any case wait for some sort of sale first. I don't pay full retail.
  10. Also so tempted. 27.5 alloy with a silver Pike would look pretty sweet.
  11. Right (I think?) hand past Never ending is easiest, especially when the SE is blowing, then it's up with a nice tailwind pushing. The other climb is shorter, but punchy. Meaning *** styl when your legs a pap.
  12. Our defense strategy worked extremely well against NZ, (unfortunately) at the expense of our attacking game (NZ's defense was also top notch tough). I hope that we can bring more of both aspects of the game into balance. Even considering the wet weather forecast, I doubt the same AB team will pitch up again with so many handling errors. Plus they always seem to adapt quickly by the next game after a poor showing. I'm getting a bit nervous for Saturday tbh.
  13. At 14.9 kg for a carbon bike, that porker ought to handle Rampage.
  14. Some cream for that burn!
  15. Now if they made a new mojo AF, I'd be all over it.
  16. A good curry and red wine - rather just stay in bed next time
  17. We have that green stuff on Paarl mountain as well. Started two wheel drifting at 50kph on a straight section, then gravity took over.
  18. You mean for the first time?
  19. The key to Plumber is to keep momentum. There is two spots where you have to let go of the brakes in order to give you that boost to clear the next rocky bit. It's down that rocky "shoot" and just before that section. Considering all the rocks, it rolls pretty okay.
  20. That's truly sad. I've read a previous article on the topic, that they suspect it's as a result of Chinese boat/trawlers (over) fishing illegally in our waters that affects the young/baby sharks' food availability. The presence of Orcas are also suspect, as there were quite a few dead sharks that washed up on the shores with their livers removed.
  21. Dewalt lite duty; vs big daddy;
  22. All the brands these days have the 'prosumer' products in their line-up. Bosch, Dewalt and Makita. When looking at cordless drills for instance, you notice the industrial models have decent metal chucks etc, and a number of extra features Eg. lite duty vs industrial
  23. Post some progress pics. Is it not against forum rules to mention something with pics? For a second I contemplated entering again, but I'm not up for the fishing of fb likes to win something.
  24. Seller's mentality: *Receive 'low ball' offers; people are chancers and time wasters. *Sells within minutes at your asking price: I should up the selling price, make them bid for it.
