  1. If it's a fragrance ingredient plant, it's probably a Rose geranium plant, Pelargonium graveolens, or some other malva plant.
  2. At first it also looked like that to me, but that is the top facing part of the caliper, i.e. also away from the direction of the wheel's rotation on the front/fork. Looks like brake fluid could be the culprit.
  3. An upside down thudbuster will make for a better looking linkage fork.
  4. Scout now belongs in this thread;
  5. Santa cruz fan bois are like the apple fan bois of the bike world. They don't care if the new iphone only comes with gprs while other brands are already at 5G. beCaUSe sAnTa cRuZ iS BoUtiQue yOu KnoW.
  6. Seen a few at Hardware centre. Toolcraft might also have stock. Otherwise try Amazon. They’re not cheap though.
  7. Yeah, and we’re mos renowned worldwide as the best run chasers.

  9. Interesting that you mention that. I never consider rebound and tyre pressure, but I do prefer the way the bike's suspension feel when I run higher pressure. Just clicked now. Running 23/30. Have run 20/23 in the past and no issues, but then again I way ~72-75.
  10. I'm more impressed an Audi lasted long enough to reach that speed without breaking along the way.
  11. Been in that position before. I was standing in front of the mamba, about 2 m away from it. Then I just heard a loud bang, and your natural instinct is to sort of to duck to take cover. I look towards my friend who decided to fire at it with the shotgun. I look back at the mamba which was now coming at me like that. It's not easy crapping yourself twice, running backwards with your legs spread out as wide as possible with feet in the air dodging a crazy mamba.
  12. Hey man, pls pm me the price you had in mind. Can’t make promises as I’ve got a lot expenses with building, but hey...you never know!
  13. Yeti riders must be getting pretty anxious.
  14. 75k for a frame? Loop naai.
  15. I can be there Saturday afternoon-ish or very early morning, but my wrist is only good for 3 runs.
  16. Just as bad and kitsch as those rich arab's houses.
  17. Clear your browser history.
  18. Dunno, mother f***** popped into my head.
  19. Snake vemon is not fully understood. The venom from Cape cobras from the western regions are believed to be even more toxic/potent than the rest. I also recently saw a case of mild cytotoxic effect from a Cape cobra. Might be the same case, but definitely not bs. Edit: looking at the photos, it appears to be the same case, and also not a misidentified specie.
  20. Yeah, no point in furthering the discussion if that's your view.
  21. So what theory (or rather hypothesis) would convince you or do you propose?
  22. Yeah, it's a bit of n exaggeration, but they fall prey to almost every opportunist that is bigger than it.
  23. It's not really a case of mimicry of venomous species, rather than uneducated people thinking every snake is some or other venomous specie. Many snake species go through ontogenetic colour changes as they mature. Camouflage being the main advantage and driver for an animal that is at the bottom of the food chain, but as it grows and its behavior and environment it occupies changes, evolution will favour those traits that are most successful for its survival. The dark colouration of Mole snakes on the West coast probably evolved to aid thermoregulation for an animal that spends most of its life in burrows - the quicker it can warm up in the sun, the quicker it can get away into hiding again.
  24. Don't talk ***, they gather all their friends first and rock up in their beemers.
