  1. Same fossils still using Internet Explorer?
  2. Submitted returns last night, first time in 4 years I'm not audited. At least one bonus so far.
  3. XTs are good only for a while. Never had brakes that needed rebleeding so often. Had a set of Curas for a while, and whilst they were working, they were quite okay. But the lever design is also a bit different to XT and Sram's - more moto like and almost not suitable to small hands. My set of Guides RSs were fantastic when they worked, but I struggled for quite a while to get them working again 100%. As someone else said, not everyone gets the bleeding 100%. I eventually replaced them with Hopes, and they're still sitting in a box at home waiting to be used again...but finances don't allow new bikes now. Perhaps it's time to off-load in the classifieds. Note on Sram brakes, run organic pads instead of metallic ones. They're less noisy and for me, they work better than the metallic ones. More initial bite, and no fade either.
  4. Poor performance from both teams. The only thing the boks did well was the rush defense that stymied the NZ back line and overall attack. Bar for the 2 smallest players in the team, our back line was impotent at best, and our attack was as one-dimensional as SA rugby can get - forwards in the back line playing crash ball and not getting over the advantage line. Also, playing way too flat (probably as a result of the defense strategy), our guys are just passing the ball to the next guy, not running one meter forward or drawing in any defenders. You can't win if you're not scoring points. It's also embarrassing to celebrate the draw like they did. Expectations and standards are obviously low.
  5. Was it not our own Haroon Lorgat that sold us and the rest of the teams out to the "top 3"?
  6. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Last year's only high light was the NZ win. We still lost to Wales, England, Australia and let's not forget Argentina.
  7. We should just skip this pussyfooting and go straight to dual rotors with 6 or 8 piston calipers.
  8. Haha. Here I thought I was the only one that noticed that. I always just say; ‘oh look, we’ve got a badass with mad skillz over here!” It’s like those tappets wearing a tapout tshirt - instant fighting cred.
  9. Yeah, but is this latest trend empowering "WoC" or is it just cheap marketing/publicity stunt to score attention/stay relevant to, as you say, a product/market/industry gone stale?
  10. With 26" wheels and a stem longer than the bike's reach...that lock is over kill.
  11. My lil boi
  12. Well, now we’re not going to hear the end of it with the poms.
  13. Dhoni hasn't been in the mood to up his strike rate this wc. Rooting for India here in the hopes for a better final.
  14. Kinda feel for India here. Pitch is a let down. And if NZ goes through to the final I suspect they would get thrashed by either Oz or England.
  15. It seems like it's one of those days where you pull your A-game in the bedroom in the morning and let her sleep in for the rest of the day to recover.
  16. Wouldn't have thought otherwise. Looks pretty diy to me.
  17. WC results shouldn't come as a surprise. As you said, Warner and Smith wasn't in the squad then, and Oz was a pretty demoralized team at that stage. That series win means as much as a Zim series win. Sri lanka is also at one of their worst performing streaks of late, and it seems Pakistan is following suit. So we were playing against very average teams.
  18. Ain't gonna happen. The power-that-be are there only to serve their own agendas and line their pockets. We've seen this in other sports as well. Everyone know WP rugby and SARU is a mess, yet we only see the coaching staff getting the axe. CSA is no different.
  19. There is a slight offset in lower part of the seat tube, but it looks like 10 mm at best. *you can see it on the photo where the down tube and seat tube meet on the bottom bracket.
  20. Looks wise it's rather neat. But that shock offset looks pretty extreme, and I'd imagine some ankle rub would be a problem. I've read of numerous complaints about the Orbea rallon's shock that's in the way, and the offset is not nearly as bad. Also, those unsupported mounting bolts on the shock is interesting.
  21. Holy crap. Does that crank/pedal even clear the shock? This just looks like a bad idea.
  22. Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s methamphetamine.
  23. At this rate they’re better of making some sightseeing plans with all the time they’re going to have on their hands.
  24. A moment of silence for the Proteas please.
