  1. He wasn't bust, it was covered up just like the others. Don't forget he is Spanish.... Jorg Jaksche, the dude who recently admitted he was the JJ on Fuentes list goes as far as saying it's a probable assumtpion that the A.C on the list is Alberto Contador. p.s it's not old news, it actually came out today on cyclingnews.com
  2. thought the winner of stage / race always tested ?
  3. a) The prize fund has nothing to do with whether athletes dope or not. It has to do with market share and market value. b) Just because you don't hear of other athletes failing doping tests doesn't mean they're not tested...... This is what the papers do, they make a big song and dance about a topic and people follow like sheep. According to most people in the world now, only cyclists dope............more like the other sports just keep quiet. Cycling gets all the bad publicity so why even mentione any failed doping test in other sports. Where are the names of the other 165 sportsmen / women in the Puerto case for starters ? It's all bullsh*t...anyone with half a brain should be able to figure out that doping extends to ALL sports and NOT only the Professional versions either. You go tell someone that golfers use HGH and they will laugh at you. It's all kept very quiet for the sake of the sports' image.
  4. You could always find an English one....... I'm light, don't worry.
  5. this is fast becoming a cut and paste noteboard rather than a forum....... we get it, you read the French papers. Maybe you could just inform people of the articles instead of pasting everything you read in the papers ?
  6. no but they won the soccer World Cup in 1966 and we still hear about it..
  7. the same school that wouldn't allow us to play soccer as a school sport for a VERY long time..... I would not have called it such an accomodaing school as you make it out to be but eventually they got the message that Rugby wasn't EVERYTHING in life. They either allowed people to choose what sport they wanted to do or risk loosing them. At least if they got results, the school got into the papers...
  8. well done on the 2nd place Dan
  9. the question is WHY this news was released now as they (the Danes) had the info since June.
  10. He didn't loose interest, he's was just very realistic in saying that Tom is stronger than him so even if Robbie keeps finishing 2nd behinf every time he won't take the jersey. I don't think that somoene like him would give up untill the last stage.gianni2007-07-19 10:58:27
  11. It was a team testing procedure that picked up the anomaly..
  12. money changes people's minds very quickly.....
  13. wow..I thought those days were over. Ride the bike if that's what you really want to do. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cycling#Racing Tell them to read the 2nd sentence in the 2nd paragraph. Can't believe they're still that closed minded....

  15. those have to be the ugliest wheels around
  16. probably phoning Fuentes...............everyon forgotten already this is the guy who changed teams because he didn't want to sign up to their new code of conduct ?
  17. Hunter is riding smart. He's doing a "McEwen" and using the other teams to lead him out. Why waste your team's energy whe you can use another's lead out. I don't think Barloworld could or want to be up at the front every day fighting Quick Step, T-Mobile, Lotto etc. to create a leadout train. Rather save the riders to get stage wins / placing when possible.
  18. agreed! and screw bjarne!!! Bjarne IS the CSC team.....and who found a new co-sponsor (Masterseek) for the team. Started their sponsorship from this year's TDF. Might be new main sponsor.. ...who was the chump that said to me Bjarne was finished and he wouldn't get another sponsor ?
  19. never stretch.
  20. you must put the stuff together yourself then huh ?
  21. had my roadie stolen when I was still in Stellies... thougth that was it, untill we saw the dude cycling up the main street with it. Friend (one of the best dudes around at that time) got on his bike and chased him down and got it back. Apparently he had borrowed it from a "friend" ! I was almost hoping the guys would try and get away to see how long he would last
  22. so just a pic of you in a bunch then gianni2007-06-20 08:13:24
