  3. problem with EAS is that it is very expensive $$$$$$$$$$
  4. imm with token - CYTOMAX. their pre-performance is also very good. one serving of pre-performance & two bottles of cytomax is all i have during a 100km race. never needed any gells / bars etc. after i started with the cytomax.
  5. ja michelle - i did see myself on tv! really dont look as pro as i imagined! didn't eveen see jason see his gat!
  6. thanks - always wondered about this. i am sure it adds weight?
  7. doesnt this slime in the tubbie cause issues with the rolling of the wheel? my thinking is that if you fill a bucket half full of water & swing it around, the water stays in the bucket & in one place. so - put slime in the tubbie / tube & start riding - will all the slime not gather at once spot & stay there until you stop again?
  8. i saw that one coming!
  9. guess you saw the post that i deleted just because i figured that it might hurt your feelings! also considered sourcing the chip in question myself and paying the slowest rider in the cape to put it on his bike for a couple of races!
  10. this is not good news!!!! - i can already taste the blood in my mouth! good thing the first big race of next year is flat!

  12. nope - dont know where that number will take me & they record our telephones here at work!
  13. GP - did not see you on saturday or sunday?
  14. i like this word! nearly like "slet" (as in "jason het donners hard neergeslet"), but nicer!
  15. most probably not, but then again that thought will always be in the back of your mind that there is something out there that is one level better than what you currently have!
  16. thanks jason - i was getting worried that i am losing my online friends as well! do you think that they will show you seeing your gat in the bakwena?
  17. i think that natural talent only comes into play with sports where some level of skill is involved such as golf & other ball sports. with endurance sports i think that the only natural talent that could count in your favour is body composition i.e. height and overall body mass. the rest can be trained.
  18. did the highlights show exactly the same footage as the live broadcast, or was there some new stuff? any coverage of the vets racing? anyone know when they are going to show the bakwena?
  19. this is far more interesting than minkie's minkie in the bath!
  20. how is the intensity factor calculated - it would appear that this is what you have to look at to see how hard a ride was (or not). should be far more accurate than ave. HR.
  21. i can see how a person can play all day long with these stats! are there many variables involved in power stats, or is it generally that if X & Y complete the same distance over the same time (all external factors such as temp & wind being equal) they have produced exactly the same average watts for the duration irrespective of factors such as their body weight or fitness level? (BM - max HR for entire race seems a bit high - 244 bpm - see there is also a 204 in the second hour?)
