I can understand why that would upset you, but I think there is a critical distinction that perhaps you have not considered. My departure is evidence based and from an ethical standpoint.

You and I can go together and I can show you the rain forests slashed for cattle grazing, I can show you the bleached corals and I can show you the pigs screaming for their lives as they're lowered into a gas chamber or have to watch as their brethren get a captive bolt to the head. There are mountains of evidence underpinning my position. This is not something I take lightly.

Can you show me God? Can you show me the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit? Can you show me evidence of their existence and divinity? If so, I'll change my position.

I know I'm late to another riveting edition of "Eat Your F&*^%$G veggies", however, let me make one correction about the rain forests and specifically the rain forests of Brazil and South America in particular;

- Their destruction is linked not so much to the meat industry as it is to the mono-cultural industries of soya, maize and root vegetables (no, not to feed to cows but so that vegetarian and vegan industries like pseudo hamburger patties and sausages can be made)

- their destruction is also linked to the socio-economic ills caused by their governments and not really so much to meat farming as you want it to look like.

And yes I know you are the "Johovas Witness of Vegan Everything" and you'll be able to quote pages from your library of stashed articles to us corpse eaters, but not everything in the worlds demise is linked to meat eating even if you want it to be.

Nah, I'm happy on this side, I don't need to "stroke" your online ego to make me feel good, I'm sure you'll find some hubber/s that will oblige.

This isn't a 'sides' thing, dude. We're not at war. I can't control how you react to the information I post. Only you can.

Tisk, tisk, the side I was referring to was your reference to the thread, but I believe you knew that.
