Sometimes I think just this in traffic. Look around and try imagine just the people without the cars. We sit miles away from eachother! Roads are what 10, 20 metres wide and there 2 people occupying the breadth of it.

You learn quickly. Unless ASICS now make shoes with KEO clips, then it’s only the sock length that’s a n issue I think.

that pic is also not very accurate, once on the move the space between the cars needs to be bigger, the space between the bikes also gets bigger but by a much smaller margin
