The thing with these stunts on skyscrapers, cranes etc. is that it is all just about conquering the fear. The stunts/actions themselves aren't particularly that difficult. They are performed exactly the same as if the wall or ledge was just a few feet above the ground (besides maybe the affect of wind).

 

So takes balls, but it's a still bloody stupid thing to do.

Difference is, on a ledge or wall, a mistake means you get hurt, but trip, fall, or any other possible slip and mistake and it means death.. like this guy

with zero room for error ... just hope that is one of these go bad, no innocent person below will get hurt / killed

Absolutely, there is zero room for error, which it is why it takes the big balls and conquering the fear. But we could both walk along a plank that is a foot wide without falling off if it is just above the ground, but then it becomes completely different when it is that high up.
